One of the gifts I received from my Secret Prayer Pal...I thought it was cute. She didn't know it, but I needed new dish cloths.
The little saying is as follows:
We look like pajamas
But really we're not!
We're three little dish cloths
You'll like us a lot!
For washing the dishes
And cleaning the dirt
Take us apart
It really won't hurt!
This sweet little thing showed up a month or so ago. We can't get anywhere near her or him. I made her a warm little place in a kitty carrier. She sleeps there every night now. I am hoping she will come around, then I will get to love on her. One of our outside cats has taken to caring for her. Very sweet.
She or he has a problem with her front right leg. She walks and runs with a serious limp. Breaks my heart. :(
Update: We have discovered that this kitty is a boy. His name is Livvy. I was finally able to pet him, and it only took me six months to pet him. He even "talks" to me. 9-23-13

I made 20 of these scented pillows for all of my Circle sisters. Our Christmas Party is tonight and I am excited to share them with everyone...oh, and all the wonderful food and fellowship.

3rd Sunday of Advent...
They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:10
May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace,
The gladness of Christmas give you hope,
The warmth of Christmas grant you love.

December Photo Project~12-12-09
This is my belated birthday gift. A laptop. I love it. It came today. Actually it came yesterday, on my birthday, but we were in Bloomington, Il.
I have been using a hand me down desktop computer, with a Windows 98 operating system! It has been acting slow and the blue screen of death has presented itself more times than I can count!
I usually don't give myself presents, but I am glad that I gave myself this one.
Sorry if the photo is a little dark.

Yesterday, the 11th,was my birthday. It was a really good day. We left around 9:00am to go to Bloomington, Illinois. We met my sister Genny and her two little ones. Went to Mc Donalds's for lunch, a treat for all the kids. This picture is of my two girls. I love it.
We went to the Childrens Discovery Museum in Normal, IL. It was awesome. The kids and adults had so much fun. I highly recommend this museum if you are ever in the area.
This is Tahoe, my sister's sweet dog. He had a sore on the side of his face that he kept scratching. So she had to break out the collar. He was so sad that she put it on him. We couldn't help but laugh...poor guy.
We didn't get home until 10:30pm. It was a long, fun day.

December Photo Project~12-9-09
We are having such a cold and very windy day here in Central Illinois. Wind gusts of up to 50 miles an hour....brrrrr! It feels very wintry and it is such a blessing to be here in our warm home.
I have this Christmas card from last year sitting on my kitchen window sill....it always brings a little smile to my heart throughout the day.
