A little hot glue, an untold amount of twine, and an hour and a half of time I now have myself a rather funky 'S' monogram. Do you have a monogram hanging on your front door?
About 2 years ago, I bought a medium size box of vintage drawer pulls, for $2.00. It was high time to put some to use. After cleaning up a few, I gave them a couple coats of gloss white paint.
I found this plastic piece of scrollwork on the ground at our local recycling center. It needed a little something. That something being gloss white paint.
Yard sale find last summer for .50. Not Pretty! But soon to be.

I painted it a pretty green. Next, I covered a thin piece of cardboard with a piece of pretty material. ( I love my hot glue gun!) I plan on making a few more material covered inserts to change out the tray for different looks or seasons.
I am having my first giveaway and I didn't even realize it until I was visitingtales from an oc cottage She is having a very sweet giveaway and I guess I got so excited, I unknowingly clicked on the linky spot. The form looked different from other forms, but I filled it in and hoped to win!! I went to visit her blog today and couldn't find my entry. So I looked around for it and found it under her "if you are having a giveaway" link up section. Boy, do I feel dumb. For some reason I am number 10 and 11! I have never linked up on any blogs yet so far....well until now! LOL!
So I am going to go ahead and have a giveaway!
