Day 3
Monday and Tuesday were a success in terms of making our home a haven. I finished 90% of my to-do list both days.I was even able to go to Book Club on Tuesday night! I have missed so many Book Clubs lately because I have felt exhausted and overwhelmed by 7:00pm! It was so nice to reconnect with friends and get a new book to read.
I really took the time to listen to my girls. Took time for myself. But MOST important of all, I put my Father first! That in and of itself made all the difference in my days! Amen.

Wednesday October 5th
Refreshing my spirit. Before my feet hit the floor, I reach for my Bible and read my devotion for the day. I re-read Psalm 107. My favorite verse is:
29:He stilled the storm to a
whisper;
the waves of the sea were
hushed.
30:They were glad when it grew
calm,
and he guided them to their desired
haven.
I read our family devotion to the girls and said our prayers for the day.
Yep, feeling refreshed!
Fed the girls breakfast. I always sit at the table and eat breakfast with them. Usually, our conversation centers around the dreams they had the night before! I send them off to their room to play and I begin my morning routine.
My Morning Routine.
*Clean bathroom.
*Feed cats.
*Wash breakfast dishes.
*Start a load of laundry.
*Set up for school.
*Check e-mail.
*Homeschool starts at 9:30am.
Lunch is served around 12:30. It was such a pretty day, I decided to put a little table out on the porch and serve them lunch outside. Nothing fancy:Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Peaches, and a little treat of Mini Lemon cupcakes and Candy Corn mixed with Peanuts. They were so excited to eat outside. It makes my heart soar to see them so excited about something that I consider so simple.

For Dinner we had:
*Chicken Noodles
*Mashed Potatoes
*Sweet Corn
*Cheddar Biscuits
My husband LOVES this meal. And I LOVE making it for him. :)
