A Tale of Punkin'~10-13-13

I found this sweet little thing while I was yard saleing today. This is the story of her being found and subsequently finding her forever home.
From Facebook:
Went to Hume today, to "yard sale". At my last stop, I walk up to the tables and then hear what sounds like a baby kitten crying. I ask the young lady if that is what I am hearing. "Umm, yeah, I think it is." Ooookay. The cries get louder and more insistent. I asked if I could see it and she acted like it was a bother. So I said, "That's ok, don't worry about it." She gets up and heads into the junk filled garage. I follow. She said she had heard it, looked for it once and it wouldn't come to her. Well, I moved a few things aside, bent down and called it in my best "come here kitty" voice. If, you love cats you know what I talking about! LOL! It came right to me. Tiny, shaking and crying. I asked if the momma was around. She didn't know. I asked the grandmother who owned the garage. She said, "I don't like cats and I don't pay attention to what walks in and out of my garage." I said that I would take her, but I was afraid I would be taking her from her mom. She said, "Well I have no plans to feed it, watch it or nuthin'. I hate cats." Well, that cinched it. Into the car we went. I even bought a crappy basket on my way to the car. You know, because I can't ever leave someone's sale empty-handed. The basket cost me .50 cents. You're welcome, people. Sheesh.
Anyway, fed her, made up the kennel for her with bed, litterbox. Now I need your help....DOES ANYONE WANT THIS SWEET THING? I think she is right at 6 weeks. Seems healthy, weighs around a pound (after eating). I plan on de-fleaing her. Help a crazy cat lady out?

She's a calico. Female, of course. We are calling her Punkin'.

She's a sweetie.  I'm gonna miss her.
A very good friend responded on Facebook that she would take her.  I was elated.  Little Punkin' will live a happy life indoors a I imagine a bit spoiled.  Just as it should be.
